Las he fires them you see twin orbs of glowing green wind up towards the pursuing ship. They collide with it and it bursts into fragments.

 

 

 

 

Soon, the SUV with a little-bit-agitated Frost prime and a gun-crazy heavy Grineer approached the capital city. Ulf witnessed a series of urban skirmishes of his comrades, local security forces, and civils with the intruders. It was harder to control the damned armored vehicle in the streets, but by this moment he was untypically thrilled, and so drove the machine like a pregnant b**ch on methamphetamine. At what resembled the city central square, they encountered a whole row of redressed intrusion forces exchanging fire with the local guards at the opposite side of the city square.

Ulf grinned a bit manically (which is pretty much uncommon to him) and said to the frantically laughing Grineer "Hold to your c*cks, buddy..." he continued his message with a loud bark "...AND WATCH THE LIMBS FLY! BWAHAHAHA!". The crazy tenno pushed the acceleration pedal straight to the bottom.

It remained a mystery what alarmed the corpus at the first place: a horribly laughing driver or a juicy symphony of a particularly menacing sequence of roadkills. Bork could see the bloody tire tracks, some bodies squashed under the wheels, limbs and bodies flying up and to the sides like (a bit dismembered) skittles hit by an especially accelerated ball. One particularly unfortunate corpus has been pinned to the SUV's frontal hood. Still conscious but immobilized with the force of a charging car, he attempted to lift his head and look at the driver. Due to this occasion, Ulf half-leaned through the window, and, with a strange comment "BOOYA!", shot the poor bastard's head from his Lex prime. The body of this poor scum flew off the car's hood on the next road turn.

After smashing through two another lesser flocks of corpus, the jeep reached the citadel bridge. It was obviously damaged, which made Ulf add paces once again. On the high speeds and with a jolly driver's yell "Yeeehaaww!", the vehicle landed on the other side. 

" 'Tis ending station! Thank you for using Tenno omnibus. Have a nice day!" he joked off

"And Monologging." A slippery voice says. "Makes you dead."

You hear a large number of footsteps approaching.

The "Archons", unsued to fighting Tenno, open fire wildly. The few survivors soon cease their fire, only to be caught in the Bastille, and gunned down from inside the barricade.

"Identity?" A voice asks.

Bork slides out of the vehicle, and leans over. You hear him dry-heave.

"You drive like a Manic." He says, then looks up.

"Let's hope you fight like one." He says, as Corpus Tech's in Archon armor begin to march out the gate.

"Don't you have better things to be doing?" He asks. "Like stopping a hostile takeover of your government, or preventing armageddon."

Luna raised the Gammacor above her head as the pieces charged up an orb that then unleashed a violent shockwave that fried the two closest bursas and disabled the rest. She lowered the gammacor and turned. By gathering void energy in her Syandana, Luna focused a wave of energy into Melanie's suit and weapon, nearly pushing her down in the process. A few bursts later and the link were established.

"We are connected now, I will try and supply as much power as you need to break the door." She said and hurried to the disabled Bursas. "I'll begin hacking our defences, don't think about the spiking power levels, just fire!"

What she didn't mention was that she could use the same link to heal injuries if needed.

"We retake the control center." He says. "Disrupt their communications and bring the grid back up."

Melanie slices an giant X into the door with the beam and then kicks it, sending shrapnel flying inward.

"Nina!" She shouts. "Come and face me, coward!"

She strides into the room, just as a large security door slams shut over the entrance. As the Bursa's around you restart, this time allied to you, you hear the clump of boots around the corner.

The Crewman cluster around Sven, who backpedals as the arrows pierce them.

Hemet and Ernest are no longer in the bubble, but niether are they visible. Sven tries to run and a bola lances out, tangling his feet. He turns as Ernest and Hemet close in, raising a gun.

You recognize the Angstrum launcher.

A Drahk clamps onto his arm, shredding his hand with it's teeth, while another opts to simply tear the threatening limb off entirely.

Ulf reflexively rolled out from the vehicle and lifted the globe. He enhanced geineer's gun via ice charge and opened fire in tech's direction from his LMG, using the vehicle as a cover while the grineer prepared to enter the combat.

"Seem's like I'm the carrier, right? And where are we supposed to rendezvous with our allies?" He inquired in the short pause that occurred between series of shots"

He leads you down into the lower levels. You see corpses, and it is apparent someone else fought their way through here.
