The Chroma speaks in a strange manner, as if deep underwater, resurfacing occasionally in full clarity before fadeing back down in volume and intensity. Suddenly, the maw of the Chroma sparks with energy, and, after a few moments, the roaring cry of an emitted Spectral Scream is heard and the Chroma emits a barrage of lightning onto the crusty cube. The Operator clearly looks extremely uncomfortable, but, the Chroma continues the blast all the same. After a few moments, the relic appears to catch blue fire and the Chroma halts it's ability as the object leaves it's grasp and floats quietly burning and crackling a few inches from it, the Operator muttering something repetitively as the Chroma grasps it by the armpits, and dumps it nonchalantly into the harness on the back.

"Give it a few moments for the discharge to fade before grasping it and this tiny fellow should offer you whatever she has within. Just be ready to stand clear for the disgorgement process, we used to have these little numbers carry anything from pre-constructed buildings to small items of value!"

The Operator groans slightly, only for the Chroma to make a hushing sound and pat it on the head.

 

The relic opens and a device springs out. It quickly digs into the ground and sends a beam lancing up into the heavens.

Across the camp Tenno sudden find their Cephalons contacting them, urgently inquiring as to their status. It appears that this device allows communications to pierce the disruption field.

Laura hands you another relic.

"I hope this one is something medical." She says. "One of our allies was shot retrieving it."

*He folds his arms and looks to Lakar* "I Don't  "underestimate" them, I am smipley saying I've seen worse in my lifetime, I watched a child's mother die before my very eyes, watched how he begged for her to awaken, being tron apart within the inside, fear and sadness taking over his mind, not long before I took him away and left him with other family. An scar like that on a child is so permanent, not even brain-damage will ease your mind, only death,

in the shadows near the pillar, between flashes, the Chroma can be seen with it's arms spread, reveling in each discharged lance as though it is narcotic. The Operator appears highly distressed and attempts to pull itself up towards the Chroma's shoulder, only to be gently pushed back down again like a mewling infant reaching for a box of sweets. After a few moments of this eerie spectacle, the Chroma turns back to the pair outside of the tent and holds it's arms wide, the Operator limply synchronizing with it.

"A glorious display of power from our glory days! Tell me Tenno, certainly you have more salvage for me to peruse, more illustrious golems for me to breath life back into?"

The Chroma slaps it's hands togethor and rubs them eagerly, the Operator on the back doing the same, albeit feebly.

This structure appears to be the nexus point for the prison. You can feel void energy flowing through the structure, no doubt why the sentient could not enter. The console unlocks after a few tries, it's cipher far more complex than you have seen before.

You see power levels fading at several key locations along a map of the ley lines. This information seems valuable. 

"Ley lines." Famine says. "We should...."

He leaves and Jas stands a little taller.

"Dixon, Ulf, Dirge" He says. "You will accompany the first obelisk to the following coordinates. Scanners are detecting a nexus point there."

The Wraith Leader and one of the Slayers nod.

"Theresa, you and Philip will escort the second." He says. "Wraith 11 will accompany you."

He continues to assign Tenno to obelisks until all five are accounted four.

"One of the Masters will accompany each of you." He says. "They will divide up as they see fit."

He points to a partial map of the cave systems.

"Map has been uploaded to each of you." He says. "After we secure the obelisks, the Masters will channel into them to trap the Sentient and redirect the energy. It is likely Xipha will draw her Acolytes to her if she is contained, therefore the Wraiths will meet up with the Slayers and deal with these renegades. All other operatives will stay with the Masters to ensure they can concentrate without distraction. All operatives not assigned a squad will stay here on guard duty. We should have reinforcements dropping soon."

She waves him away and turns to Kev.

"I am no mere drone." She snaps. "I am a Sentient a Lord. My true form is neither your concern nor your business. I was locked up because the Orokin stopped trusting your kind to kill mine. And when I am free I will take command of this rock and remake it as I see fit. Hose who prove themselves will have a place at my side. Those who do not will be left behind."
