He grinned once his eyes caught the instruction mentioning the glitter-o-calypse and its necessity for the cooking. This was the kind of positive silliness that he himself and those whom he leads were devoided, but worked each day so the others could see the brighter side of existence and "infuse the environment with sparkles and happiness".

"We bid you a productive day, civilians, and thank you for your services," he said to Seven and Sara, turning to his two companions.

"Now, it is time for us to move to the defense district and to brace ourselves, for you may suspect who is..." his HUD interrupted the phrase. He looked onto it and his face lost the previous merriness. It appears that he and Bloom share the resentment of unexpected turns of events.

He messaged Melanie:

"The arrival of troopers is delayed due to a situation in Origins. Estimated time - from five to seven hours from this moment. I will inform on the status if anything changes"

He refocused back on Alan. "Seems like we won't steal Tak from hs duties any longer. To the monastery that is"

Alan leads you outside and conjures another circle.

(( wait, real children, or is that a figure of speech?, cuz it sounds like, he was about to let kids die))

(((As in take the kids and organize them to stop the Fluffles. The only things in immediate danger are the plants. At worst the Fluffles are scavengers. Even when starving they wouldn't attack a person.))

Baast falled on her side and with all her form displayed the protest that can be read as "No, I will not! And you would not dare to force a lady". The heavy simply stood, looking down at his pet. The heavyweight cat flapped her tail against the floor, obviously hinting that she is not going to move. Then, the man offhandedly kneeled to put the whiscered rioter under his arm but the kavat leaped out of his immediate reach. If the cats could pout, it would be her next action exactly. She went to the circle, but her gait obviously suggested that the feline kept a grudge and that her master now should check his footwear before equipping it.

The man followed his annoyed beast.

*She perks a brow* "Ey Ey" *She looks down to Sah* "Come on, lets go to the east"

((Sah as in a Irish guy saying sir.))

The children clutch their rakes and pitchforks and follow you.

Another, smaller, mass of white approaches the eastern field.

"Alright, get ready, here they come" *She says, as she reloads her weapon* "Can these things bite?"

Tak chuckles and gestures. Loght desposits you back in the courtyard of the Monastary.

Tak motions to one of the five rooms offset from the courtyard. The Maduri symbol sits above the door.

"There is your classroom, Master." He says. "I will be along shortly to observe. Your students will arrive shortly."

"Yes." One could says. "But they won't bite us. Only the plants."

Junior passes out controls for Attack Drones and other types of osprey.

*She nods, looking over to Jun* "See if you can command them to lay down mines and attack like a carpet bomb" *She waits for them to get closer*

"Form up!" He says. "Attack Drones in front, sapping ospreys in back."

"But Junior." A child complains. "We don't have flight leader. Your dad always flew in front."

He watched the symbol depicting the everlasting loop of energy preservation - the emblem of the way of force.

He asked Alan before going to the classroom, "Is my path propensity that obvious to a side observer?"

"He wouldn't be grandmaster without a bit of all-knowing vibe and mystery." Alan says. "Case in point. Tak."

Tak reappears in a flash of light.

"Yes?" He asks.

"Nothing." Alan says. "Just proving a point."

He waits a few seconds after Tak is gone.

"Tak!" He says.

Tak appaears again.

"Yes?" He asks, with a bit more irritation.

"Same thing." Alan says.

Tak disappears.

"He did something to let him port to anyone who mentions his name." Alan says. "It is pretty easy to abuse. Tak."

This time it is a Neophyte who appears, smacks Alan upside the head, and vanishes.

*She flies with them* "Engage!" *She opens fire*

The attack drones rip into the mass. The Ospreys drop their sapping mines before the horde.

"For the Harvest!" One of the children shouts. "For pie!"

You realize with a start that the first row of crops between the fluffles and the children is rhubarb.

Followed by what appear to be metal trees with blinking lights.

One of the fluffles, a grizzled old thin with more scars than fur, watches you with a disturbingly focused gaze.

"I imagine what would a sweets-stealing rascal like yourself do with the less conventional shapes of void energy. Hey, Baast, imagine you'd be ported each time I called for you"

The low-toned growl was the answer

"Yeah... Now, time to wait for kiddos" he concluded and entered what appeared to be a classroom

The classroom is decorated with ayatans that seem to emulate he movements of flame. It is warm, and comfortable. The only seats are padded carpets with the Maduri symbol on them.

"Scan?" One asks. "It's just a fluffle."

The grizzled old fluffle thumps its leg twice. Fluffles begin to dive into the ground and burrow towards the crops.

"I'm much in favor of the second option." Thomas says. "Command, unknown bio-form in cell 2. Suggested to be symbiotic. Please advise?"

"Soooooo. . . what now?"

The Operator holds the mug towards the bars of the cage.

"Any chance I'll get to see plant life and atmosphere again?
