“Alright,” Odrah said. “If you’ll excuse me for a moment”.

The storm appeared to have died down a little. Odrah attempted to call Silo again.

”Silo?”

The static was broken ever so briefly by a familiar monotone voice.

”Silo come in!”

Silo’s voice sounded slightly relieved.

”Operator! Oh I was just starting to relax to the sound of cosmic background radiation. Now you’ve ruined it”

”Yeah party’s over Silo. I need you to land the ship at my location.”

”Your signal source appears to be coming from a large ice storm. Are you sure about this?”

”Yes. Head for the eye”.

Odrah returned to Fell and Mira.

My ship should be here any minute. Hopefully Silo should be able to land without a hitch.

As the ship nears a beam of light shoots io from the courtyard, as if to guide it in. Light flashes from it to the surrounding storm, warring against the natural forces. The storm’s eye begins to widen, as if pushed apart by the beam.

“The Gearhead’s Dojo is the one that looks like its half finished.” Mira says. “Make sure you pet the guard dog.”

Odrah’s ship came in following the light. The landing gear deployed, and the flight appeared to be coming to a smooth close.

Suddenly, the ship violently tipped to the right at the last moment.

KA-THUNK

The landing gear screeched as the ship came to a halt. Hydraulics hissed as the ship slowly descended on its gears.

Odrah placed his palm on his face. His thumb and index finger covered his eyes.

”This is what happens when you reconfigure a factory security Cephalon to fly a spacecraft,” Odrah muttered under his breath.

”At least it wasn’t as bad as that one landing on Titan!” Silo complained through the ship speakers.

”That landing on Titan may have been the worst one ever but this makes a close second!” Odrah retorted.

Alana leads you all down the path outside and towards a sign.

The sign, made from what appears to be melted Grineer armor contains very explicit descriptions of the dangers ahead and possible gruesome deaths that await.

For all the warnings the plaguelands itself appears no more dreary than the other parts of Ceres. No zombies bursting from the soil, no Infested launching globs of toxic goo, no Grineer vomiting slime into buckets. It seems almost... peaceful.

Fell jumped back as the ship tilted over. He stiffed a chuckle as the Cephalon shouted something about a different landing. "I've seen worse landings. Your ship is in one piece at least."

The beam begins to flicker. Whatever is holding the storm at bay seems to be losing strength.

“I guess there is that,” Odrah remarked. “Come in, I’ll show you around. Watch your step!”

Odrah’s Limbo, Gara, Ember, and Equinox followed, puppeted by a mysterious force.

Odrah looked outside, looking for some disturbance in the light, but didn’t see anything. “Thank you” Odrah whispered.

Upon entering, the ship was more spacious than it appeared on the outside.

Everywhere one could look there was at least three or four patches or modifications to any given piece of equipment or part of the ship itself.

A small table was bolted in the middle of the corridor. It was littered with tools and scrap metal of all kinds.

Where the arsenal should have been, there was a set of all of Odrah’s warframes standing inside pods on a rotating drum in such a fashion that only three of them were visible at any given time. Odrah’s warframes walked themselves into their own pods, and the mechanism rotated in accommodation.

A door was positioned directly beneath the middle pod, along with a red square around it with handwritten grineer calligraphy. Weapon racks of a similar fashion hung where the companion segments should have been.

”RDS” Odrah explained, “or Rapid Deployment System for short. Any frame or weapon I need, any time that I need it, this bad boy drops it within a minute. Of course, given that there’s a good pilot at the helm.”

A small door dropped from the ceiling and hit Odrah on the head.

”Oh, my sincerest apologies Operator it appears I may have applied too much lubricant on that panel there.”

Even with his monotone voice Silo’s passive-agressiveness bled through his words.

Odrah moved from underneath the door and a small ladder extended. “Defense turret is up there should the situation call for one.”

He shut the door and moved closer to the front of the ship.

The forge was also heavily modified. Instead of a singular robotic arm with a laser on the end of it, there were two arms with three fingers each and two additional arms with welding lasers. Portions of an unknown warframe scattered the floor here.

”I’ve been messing around with building a warframe from scratch. I’ve tried using parts from different warframes as guides, but no success yet. I’m trying to make one that can replicate itself perfectly.”

Finally, the cockpit. One chair with a series of panels detailing the status of every aspect of the ship. A palm reader secured the controls.

“I don’t have a Transferrence chamber in here so you’ll have to inhabit your warframe should you need one,” Odrah warned.

Odrah folded out one of the four seats that lined the walls.

”You’ll want to strap yourself in.” Odrah’s tone was a bit more serious than normal

"This is really an impressive place you go-" Again Fell jumped at something falling, this time it was a small door.

"Building your own frame? Impressive. Most I could do with making my own void channel device is this gauntlet." He hums as he stretches the metal gloved hand out, and gestured to a pouch attached to his belt. "It is something I use to construct weapons on the fly that use void energy. It can be very useful, although sadly I don't have as many plates as I had before." He adds as he sits down in one of the seats lined along the wall.

The seatbelt of the seat next to Fell slowing drifts down from its holder into the receiver with an audible click. It seems tofloat in mid-air as there was a person there, but neither scanners nor eyes detect anything.

“Hey, you can use some of the scraps I have lying around if you want. Just make sure to ask before you take anything apart,” Odrah said.

Odrah himself sat down in the pilot’s seat and placed his palms on the readers.

”Thanks Rell,” Odrah thought “for helping me out.”

The screen shifted to a series of sliders and buttons that controlled various aspects of the ship. Several overhead monitors lowered into Odrah’s sight.

The engines started with a quiet hum.

“Oh come on, honey you can do better than that! Lemme hear you ROAR!” Odrah yelled.

The engines bellowed and yelled like a mighty lion. A smile grew across his face.

Silo advised Odrah through some speakers.

”Hull integrity at 100%, Fuel reserves at 85%, All warframes accounted for.

Operator, be advised, there is still a significant crosswind from the sto-“

“I know Silo, I already accounted for that. Just put on my playlist and start the countdown,” Odrah interrupted.

Odrah shut the doors raised the landing gear as the ship lifted gently off the ground. As the ship tipped upwards, pieces of metal could be heard sliding and moving in the back.

Silo chimed in again.

”Afterburners engaging in 3...2...1...”

The ship lurched forward reaching the speed of sound in seconds. Rock music blared through the sound system.

“Ahhh.” The Loki in the seat next to Fell says. “Now that is a rush. I haven’t felt that sort of rush in years.”

He looks at Odrah.

”You must be Odrah.” He says.

He extends his hand to Fell.

”And you must be Fell.” He says. “Pleased to meet you. I am Dixon, second-gen and infiltrator extraordinaire, as you can see.”

Silo’s scanners would now detect a third presence in the cockpit.

“A thief with honor, I can appreciate that,” Odrah remarked.

The ship approached the atmosphere.

”Hang on this will get bumpy” Odrah said.

The ship rocked and yawned violently as it passed through the atmosphere. Suddenly, loose objects began to float around the ship.

”Activate Artificial Gravity” Odrah commanded.

”Artificial Gravity activated” Silo responded.

Odrah tapped one of his screens in a box marked “Autopilot”.

”Silo, set course for Gearhead Dojo.” Odrah commanded.

”Affirmative” Silo returned.

Odrah turned his seat and stood up.

Odrah turned to Dixon. "Hey Dixon, can you give me a hand?" Odrah was holding an entire arm of a prototype warframe out to him.
