What has DE said about getting multiple copies of quest frames?

There are multiple frames like mirage / atlas / chroma / mirage that can only get 1 copy of because they are given as a reward for completing a quest. The problem is quests can't be redone.

So what is DE's current stance on being able to redo quests?

DE want to implement quest replay ability, can't remember if there's word on when it'll be coming though.

Just curious, did you sell a quest part by accident?

So they have said repayable quests may/hopefully be a thing in the future.
Until then you are able to band with another players who haven't yet done the quest and get the parts that way.

For mirage and atlas I know from experience it is not true. Limbo parts for example are dropped in the mission from excavators which means everyone in the mission gets them.

Both mirage parts and the Atlas blueprints are given outside of the mission as rewards which means only the person doing the quest gets them.

Stance? 

There is none. If you accidentally sold a part, contact support immediately. If you sold the frame, you can get a new one from the market place. Basically you are paying for the ability to be short sighted. Freedom to make poor choices is great right?

Something to keep in mind... even if they add replayability to quests that does not in any way mean getting the quest reward a second time is a guarantee. Obviously people are hoping that is the case, but just as often in games the second+ play through gives a different reward.

i really think if they add replay-able quests that you should only get the reward again if you have not maxed level it..

So you can get 7 copies of a frame by leaving it at rank 29? What purpose does that serve exactly?

It would probably make more sense to make it only available if it isn't on your inventory. This way anyone who was clueless or short sighted and sold it off would be able to get it again, but still make it so the quest frames were "limited" in a fashion. They are already a guaranteed reward vs farmable parts so I don't see the sense in making them even easier to get multiples of. Doing it that way keeps the store relevant (if you want multiple you can have them via market) while still allowing the occasional "oops" or poor choice to be remedied easily (run the quest again).

And where would the logic in that be? It would likely lead to exploits.
