If it shut down my pc while updating should it restart to 0 ?

Hey guys, i was updating the game and i was at 60%

and now by a mistake i click on the button to shut down my pc (he's on my keyboard)

I canceled it quickly but then i re open the launcher it restart to Zero.

So i was wondering if it's a bug or not because my wifi is not really good then it comes for downloading so restart to zero pisses me off so much...

Lol no i change my old laptop for a brand new computer, so i have to redownload the update

i can reset to Zero, if a bookmark in the download didn't regisiter right, which can be a thing when the PC force closes programs to shut down

It happens when you close the launcher by a forced shut down. You must close the launcher yourself.

I think it should have still downloaded the part that got the 60%. It's just showing 0% because it is just starting, but it should still continue to download what hasn't been downloaded yet.

Hotfixes are more like 8 MB for the update, then another 20-200 MB for new content. On slower connections that can still take a while.

On a side note, DE ... can you please fix the launcher so it doesn't take ten minutes for it to check for new content after that first part of the update?

Thank you for all you're answers ! it's make me angry that i have to re download it. Too bad there's not other way. But this game worth it i think  haha.
