Question

I want to find out all we can about how heads/tails for kavats there is and how common/rare each one seems to be!

so far I have found 5 different types of tails, and have seen 4 different heads.

Updated 13/11/16

they have improved the ugly Persian face:

aS1zLw.jpg

update - ball ears/heads currently seem to be a bit bugged where some of them have tuffs of fur on the end but are the ball type -I think this is just a graphical glitch.

update two -this could infarct be a permanent change to the ball ears rather than a bug?

NO HEAD OR TAIL TYPE IS RARE.

Head types:

Fennec Fox head

Tufted ears (big)

New:

in order to help you I.D how many matching colours and where colours go on a kavat I have made this image to help clarify the 'fur' colour slots and where each one sits on a kavat.

fEAUS4.png

known energy colours are:

pale pink (almost white)

yellow

orange

blue

cyan

green

and a limey colour I think.

-the original image that was going around (which was on the wiki and since removed) has been proven false. so there is know known colour values for the energy colours at this point.

found more please let me know?

POST YOUR FINDINGS!

togeather we can crack the mysteries of kavat breeding!

Update -No colours or patterns are rare -theres is only one pattern (hyacinth) and only one body type.

I made a price guide:

just a plausible future reference on how gold[ seriously, gold look so good on kavat's texture]and rare purple looks like on kavats.

This gold is not mesa yellow.

i have a mutant dog-cat with that 'gold'  I think I matched it to a brown of some kind. its a mutant so its hard to really say.

Now that's beautiful. The fact that it's with the leaf tail on such colours makes it even better.

Thanks. However I haven't found a color that matches the greenish-black on the tail/under or the extremely pale pink. It's a bit intriguing.

Don't know what to call this tail, no idea if its rare or not, the inner portions of the tail (yellow) are not recolourable.

Fur pattern is Hyacinth, ears are tufted.

Colours are all natural

The tail is arrow

Nah, that little fellow is mutant as well which crossbreed with a gold/purple kubrow and gotten the colour to stay. It isn't a farm-able colour as of now, thus,i use post it as reference a future possibility. Though, yours will turn into a post-it kubrow during mission(if I am not wrong) while mine stay as a kavats.

Here's my first Kavat, Miya.

Female Adarza with Ball Ears, Leaf-like Tail, and Yellow Eye/Energy Color. I'm not sure what her colors are exactly. I also want to know if it's like Kubrows where gender is random.

The more I have bred and have seen of other people breeding I have yet to see a head or tail that really could be considered rare. :(  some seem a little more uncommon but not really enough to be classed as rare anymore. so either they have a fairly equal chance, or theres one so rare we have not seen it. (that or DE messed up?)

Head types:

Fennec Fox head (uncommon)

Persian head

Mermaid/fish -Petal?

-arrow tail (uncommon)

leaf like (uncommon)

Engergy colours found:

Yellow

green

one or two shades of blue

white (or the pale pink?)

update: I am not sure if rare colours are a thing! I can't find any that aren't in the colour kits -I think it's all tail and head shapes.

Pattern: far as i can tell there is currently only one type of body pattern (minus the two masking kit ones you can buy)

to note: the names are all just kind of 'made up fan names' atm -I've been keeping any eye out on what other people have been calling them and adapting the names to that. as we where not given any official names.

I made a sample of energy colors. Since the color settings may strongly vary, the same color may look different. It's just for the beginning.

The blue color confuses me a bit, i surely saw 2 types, but table contain only 1. And what looks white is actually the black?

It is amazing to me for the fact that you bred out so many arrow tails with all these different energy color. I only have pink, orange, yellow and green color. Great work and organization you put out there! Also, In person I'd like to see more energy color on these Kavats in person.

I'm sorry, i own only one kavat from here (pink one, although i have a pretty nice collection other forms and shapes), i just wanted a clear representation of how different energy looks.

Hot pink energy kavat. The prints can't be used for some reason because one of its parents (the one that donated the pink energy) was the product of abomination creation even though it looked like a normal cat.

Just to add to the discussion. On the mermaid tails. Does the end always come out as yellow? Or the tips of all tails? That might be a deciding factor if a tail is rare or not.

It is dependent upon energy colour.
