my public match making is broke

first off, let me start off by saying i usually play solo. but a couple days ago i decided to try public match making again, so i set it to public. the only thing wrong is it still acts like i have it set to solo. i click on a mission and instead of looking for a group to join, it just starts the count down timer and then goes into the mission. nobody ever joins in later...i still have to play the missions solo. i used to be able to play public, but not any more.  i've restarted the game, verified the download cache, optimized the files, increased my ping limit, and restarted my pc but to no avail...it still acts like i have it set to solo. anyone have any ideas on something else for me to try?

I face this from time to time. Sometimes closing and opening starchart once again helps (re-creates lobby). You should better start this thread in Bug section. I may add information if I'll be able to record this happening somehow.
