A Chargeable Sidearm?

Many players have mentioned a hard-hitting revolver as a potential new weapon, but that would just be another Lex. I have a few suggestions to make it a bit more unique.

1) Make it chargeable, like the bows. Standard attack is, well, standard, could be around the thirty-forties and fire at a rate of a bit less than 2 rounds per second. Charged attack make it go to Lex-level or something. Of course, there should be audio and visual cues to inform the player that his weapon is ready to go full dakka.

Charged damage could either be normal, or armour-ignoring, like the melee charged attacks, bolts, etc.

More or less 6 shots, take or give, with a reload time of 1.8 or something. Just spitting out some numbers.

2) We could also have a pepperbox-style gun : make standard clicks standard shots, while a charged attack unleashes the rest of the "clip" directly. Of course, "clip" size should be lower, typically four shots, in order to balance it somewhat.

Would mesh very well with Slip Mag (at most 5 rounds with +15%, or even 30%) and Gunslinger (if the charge time is related to fire rate) without becoming too OP. I hope.

Mostly same stats as 1).

Ooh, if we did have something similar to an X-Buster, then maybe it could have special effects based on the Warframe using it? Like maybe a big charge shot from MAG would be able to attract bullets in a small radius while it travels and pull them into the target. Or a giant fireball from Ember. :D

Slingshot with contact explosives. Think 25/40mm grenades. Charge necessary to fire, but fast charging(0.5s, affected by gunslinger, reload 0.8s, one-shot mag, similar to bow), amount of charge could affect trajectory, and impact(but not explosion) damage.
