Back-Up Gameplay

I read that someones computer crashed and of course he lost all his many hours of gameplay and it got me worried also since im playing on a PC.  What is the best way to back-up my progress and how do I do it ?? i just went and bought a new external hard drive to put it on.

Progress is always saved on warframe servers after every mission. It's automatic process.

This incident that you read... whoever wrote it was either lying or mistaken. Progress is not saved on your computer, but on DE's servers. It is an online game, after all.

Therefore, no need to back anything up.

As far as I know, your entire progress is saved on the server, and not on your computer. There is no need to back-up anything related to the game. :)

I'm either not understand what you mean or I'd guess you read a rumor.

The information is linked into your account and it's updated every time you leave a mission or similar.

Crashing mid-gameplay would only make you lose the current mission you'd be in as if you aborted it.
