Soma Prime Or Boltor Prime??? (help)

I'm getting some platinum and I already have soma prime so should I get boltor prime?

Boltor Prime is arguably the best DPS weapon ingame

Not even close, and it hasn't been for a while. Even using heavy cal and vile acceleration to destroy your accuracy and ammo efficiency, it's not even half as powerful as a vaykor hek (thanks in part to the primed mods and event crit mods). Plus it's single target DPS, so with even the smallest enemy groups, things like the synoid simulor or a tonkor will absolutely annihilate it. Probably why you don't see it much these days.

If you already have the soma prime, there's probably not much point getting the boltor prime too except for mastery rank (but you can always get it later when it's unvaulted). They fill pretty much the same niche. Maybe get something that will help with specific sortie conditions, like bow only or shotgun only. Or get a decent secondary or melee weapon if you don't have one already.

True plus the fact is that Boltor Prime is a non-obtainable item. If he/r wants will have to drop some plat. Some Prime would be much better option
