Alad V in Steel Meridian Missions

I haven't noticed this until recently, but every time I do a Steel Meridian exterminate mission, I get transmissions from the Lotus about how I'm there to kill mutalist Alad V, and also transmissions from the dirty salad man himself that come from his assassination mission. Other than the transmissions the mission is just a normal SM infested exterminate mission.

So far I've only seen this happen on SM infested exterminate, obviously I only get a few missions a day of random type and faction so its hard to test. I've tried a Suda hive mission, that didn't show anything but that's the only other thing I've been able to test. If anyone could share similar experiences please do, maybe Salad was hiding in a vent or something on all those missions and I just didn't find him.
