removing exilus slot polarity

I tried removing a dash polarity off of my exilus slot I put on my Valkyr but wanted to remove it... so when I went to do so with forma it just wasted the forma and kept it's polarity. Is that a glitch, can I still remove the polarity or will I have to redo Valkyr all over again in order to get it off?

I actually heard of the exact same thing happening to someone else.

 

The person contacted support and got the problem taken care of.

Same thing happened to me. I *believe* the problem is this:

As you cycle through the polarity options, you might continue until the white hexagon in the center disappears and the slot is blank. However, this position does not change the Polarity of the slot. In other words, you have the option to apply the Forma without changing anything.

What you need to do, is make sure that you stop on the option that displays a hexagon, but is blank.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that this is the mistake that I made.
