Forum Formating Failure

Question

Apologies for returning with a stupefyingly stupid repeat question for my fella Tenno, but it's a tad bit important for the Q.O.L. of my boy the Moshpit of Ideas. Do any of you helpful folks know how to create isolated spoilers that do not consume the entire rest of the page? I'd like to stick some tasty fan art onto my front page in a spoiler format, but, every time I try, the spoiler consumes everything on the page like this.

1. Idea

New art has arrived!  V

Know any way I can fix that?

Did you want something like this?

Spoiler

If so,

Spoiler

Just click the Eye Icon again

Spoiler

Outside your first spoiler box.

Edit:
Right when you are typing your post.
You have the options on top that says B I U *eye icon*

The ? Icon does not show up when formatting from my phone (like now). In fact, the full list of formatting options don't show up. I only have Bold, Italic, Underline, Link and Emoticons.

Times like this, I have to manually input the code:

[ spoiler ] Words to be hidden go here. [ /spoiler ]

But with no spaces around the spoiler or brackets snug around spoiler.

Even when turning my phone on its side (landscape) it only gives me a handful of additional formatting options (Quote, Bulleted List, Numbered List).

I've had spoilers eat the rest of my post before, but can't recall how else to fix it except to rebuild from scratch in a plain text file.

Maybe others know the secret.
