Numbers on magnetize!

I have questions about magnetize's damages, i hope you guys can help since the wiki is not clear enough.

Now, the magnetize deals damage on 3 parts:

1. your weapon damage gets multiplied on the magnetized target (200%).
2. DoT of the bubble in the area based on 'absorbed' damage (25%).
3. Explosion damage at the end based on 'total damage of the field' (200%).

What i know is that damage (1) is based on the weapon damage. As for (2), does it scale off (1) or the weapon damage directly? Same with (3), does it scale off (1) or (2) or even both?

Depending on the answer, magnetize's explosion damage might actually scale 3 times (power of 3) from power strength meaning that 200% power strength could actually multiply the explosion damage by 8; ridiculous!.

interesting question - the most likely source of what Damage is absorbed, is the Damage dealt to Enemies by Projectiles inside of Magnetize.

this makes sense as Damaging Enemies with Projectiles is required to 'charge' Magnetize.

Very good question. The 2nd part of your question is directly off your weapon... aka 100 damage per shot now has absorbed 25 damage for DoT. The 3rd I'm sure is the same statement as above but I usually use Magnetize to kill my targets that just needs to die very quickly.

Also, any weapon with punch through will be your friend because of this....
