Twin Vipers? Is it worth the hit to fire rate? Is it ever worth the hit to fire rate with any weapon?

not really, it can't even fit in a crit build >.> 

with 3 essential mods, 2 elements, 2 crit mods. you're better of just using the acolyte mods instead

They're basically never worth it in terms of DPS but they improve your ammo economy via more damage per shot and they also slightly improve the weapon's accuracy due to the relation of Rate of Fire and the Accuracy stat.

Whether or not that's worth it is completely up to the user.

I personally never use them but I tend to avoid all together.Weapons with severe deficiencies like Twin Grakatas and Vipers.

high fire rate weapon is only good in PVP ( conclave)

if for normal missions, any high fire rate weapon is very bad idea
