Need some TWW help [Spoilers]

So from what i can tell, some choices i make here in TWW quest are important ones that i can't repeat or do-over. I've just gotten to the strange orokin "ayatan" thingy in the mountains that teshin seems to want me to activate. But i overheard one of my friends mention that there are "light and dark" choices in this quest. I don't want to mess up my game by accident...can someone tell me what's going on?

There is no right or wrong, only divergent paths. Some more so than others, but this isn't some Visual Novel where one needs to put C for every answer to unlock the "golden ending," and you certainly won't mess up your game, so just do as you see fit.
