New Dojo style?

Would you like to see more Dojo variants? Maybe some kind of a "snowy mountain temple" variant (not just crappy spacestation) would be cool.

DE said they are looking at improving the Dojo system (mainly construction UI) but I wonder if they plan on adding new possible Dojo locations as well in the future patches.

possible TWW spoil:

Spoiler

I really loved that "mountain temple thing" in TWW!

I think every Tenno would love to have a choice for their Dojo style. The current one is too... cold and artificial looking? Would be great to have a style based on Earth, Mars (old Phobos) tilesets and of course the mountain temple one.

Dojo Void Portals could help mix things up:

Spoiler

One way to open Dojos to use Mission Tilesets (or different terrain for Dojo developments) is to build a Void Portal that opens up to a controlled Sector of the Sol system, which then allows Tenno to go into it and explore a version of that respective tileset that makes use of unique pieces appropriate for it to feel less repetitive, with locked security gates to prevent exploring an endless version of the tileset proper, that can be overriden by 'building' the next segment (unlocking with a 'Cipher Prime' built in the Orokin lab).

Perhaps the Dojo could serve as a network hub, with Void portals linking to a Tenno Cruiser with a lot of extractors installed on it - a unit the Clan leader or permitted administrators can vote to deploy to a system. A Clan-only mission would show up, requesting defending, capturing enemy research teams, and exterminating intruders (Clan Specters would have a Clan-chosen paint scheme for each rank and type) - or a Clan-owned piece of land, which has to be protected from pesky Grineer/Corpus/Corrupted/Infested/Occasional Sentient/Rival Clan forces which provides a bonus to something based on how consistently the Clan defends it; the bonus applies to the planet the tileset is on.

Dojo Void Portals would link to:

-A Tenno-crafted cruiser with Extractors that, when deployed on a planet, grants bonus resources, credits, and endo each run on that planet, but has to be protected throughout it's stay. If it stays too long, a Balor Formorian may show up and laser it.

-A number of tilesets, such as: Grineer: Desert, Forest. Corpus: Frozen-over wreckage, snowy. Orokin: Void Tower, Derelict Tower, ??? Ruins.

Perhaps include a number of new tilesets that are outdoors and don't feature any signs of the Grineer, Corpus or Orokin habitation or control which would include a lot of natural formations, like caves. These would be where Clans would build their prefabricated buildings and build either a base of operations, a production facility (farming to robotics), or shelter for the Syndicate most-supported by the Clan (based on what Syndicate the majority of the Clan have worked towards).

Rival Clans, Syndicates, and the typical enemy factions are likely to try and stall, if not halt and undo, whatever your Clan's building.

Dojo Void Portals, when linked to specific tileset areas on specific planets or wherever a Void Portal can exist on a given tileset, would grant a slight bonus to everything, at the cost of having to exterminate/defend the taken area.

Perhaps that Observatory and Orokin Lab could become more useful, if that (in the spoilers) can be made a thing.

I really like this idea. As a strategy game fan I'd love to have some clan-owned territory, and many clans have the problem of too few interactions, causing members to treat it like a place to trade and buy certain blueprints without even talking to clanmates. A varied clan missions system can provide many topics.

The destination of portals don't have to be restricted with resources, though it would require the portals to be an reverse engineering of the Orokin version.

-AA Sabotage

Exit a portable portal device sneaked into target region, destroy anti-air measures that prevents entering by Lisets, then fly away. Allow a high reward time-limited mission to appear for all clan members.

-Black Market

Most markets don't open to void twisted frame-thingy, but if the transaction is made perfectly anonymous...Allow trading a limited amount of certain resources, like argon crystal and forma for fieldrons and credits.

-Wrong Door

A group of unfortunate Grineer/Corpus exploration team will have no idea their void key is hacked while they are away and instead of their way home, it will lead to a dojo full of friendly Tennos. Sneaking in to hack the torsion beam device, then wait and exterminate all enemies to retrieve void relics.
