Artekkor
So... Basically i think that the processor of my Samsung NP-NC110 notebook just burned itself for no apparent reason. The fan reeks of burned plastic / metal, i dont know to be honest but something definitely got burned. The thing does not turn ON either anymore, it seems to be dead. So the important question is: is it possible to save the hard-drive data that is left in there? I'm sure i can extract the hard but i don't know what to do with it afterwards. It's probably incompatible with a normal PC SATA format. Turning the thing in for repairs is probably not an option. Artekkor
It seems that's not the hard that's SSD. Well, the question still remains: can i just slap it into my PC or there's something special required?
Kratos
A picture may help with this one. Show me the connector it uses.

Kratos
Well, it could be either SATA, or IDE. If it's SATA, it's compatible with the modern PCs of today. If it's been IDE, it will be compatible with older machines. Look both types of connectors up, and judge from there.
