Cernos Prime Multishot Damage

Question

Just curious how the cernos prime figures out the damage for each arrow with multishot mods.

Example: If the default damage is 900 (for an easy example), each arrow deals 300 damage. With multishot, lets saw it now shoots 9 arrows, does that mean that the damage is now 900 split across all 9 arrows (100 damage each), or is this just 6 additional arrows at 300 damage each?

If anyone has figured this out, that would be great.

Thanks

Each arrow does the same damage no matter the amount of multishot you have. You will notice that Split Chamber increases your paper damage by 90%, or 1.9.

The innate 3x multishot means you divide the normal damage by 3 for the per arrow damage. When split chamber increases damage by 90%, you divide by 3, and then by 1.9 to determine the per arrow damage, or ultimately divide by 5.7, which is the actually multishot of the weapon now.

so just to make sure i have it right (ill use easy round numbers)

regular = 1000 damage total, each arrow 333.33 damage

w multishot = (1000/3)/1.9=333.33/arrow

so in essence by adding multishot does not increase damage on the arrows, just adds more of the exact same base arrows
