How does the negative crit damage work on Riven Mods?

I got an Optictor Riven mod with pretty good stats, but also with negative crit damage that would max out at around -135 percent.  How does that work?  Would a crit do 0 damage, or would it just do regular damage and basically make it so the Optictor never actually crits?  If it wipes out all damage from one ever 9 shots, not worth it.  But if it just wipes out the extra damage, it might be worth it.

I would assume it would act as a negative multiplier. So at -135% crit damage, a crit would do [base-(base*1.35)]. So, yeah, crits would do 0 damage.

CritChance = Weapon Crit Chance × (1 + Mod Crit Chance)

Critical Damage = Damage × Crit Multiplier

Good question.  Test it out?  See if crits have a lower cap of 1x damage or if it can actually force it below a non-crit hit.

for some reason when i crit with my miter, -0.4x crit damage, i deal 92k - 290k damage, while normal damage is around 10k... i'll see if i can get some screenshots
