Questions about mods.

Okay so i've been playing for about a year now and my damage has fallen off. I've watched a lot of youtube videos on mods and one thing confuses me. I have a continuity mod that boosts my power duration by 12% and full rank, I see youtube videos with it at 30%. This counts with other mods i've seen as well. What am I doing wrong?

Even though I play the game a lot, I still have many things to learn. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it may be DAMAGED mod (mod you get during first tutorial missions)
they like MK-1 versions of mods, cheaper and weaker.
you can see if its damaged, by reading its description.
To followup question:
no you cannot repair it.

OH! Thanks a lot, I never knew there were damaged mods. Well that helps me extremely. Now I feel stupid for upgrading it.

Happy to help. Dont Feel stupid. it may actually have some use, on lvling new frame with low energy :)

It says on the mod underneath Damaged. Dont feel bad, i did the same with my damaged continuity until i got a normal one and was like oh sh**

you probably have dammaged mods as fellow tenno said.

If there is a crack on the picture of the mod its actualy the tutorial version of the mod. Acquiring the undammaged might be a good idea ^.^
