(PSN)Dark-TailedFox
Tenno, cut it out. Unless you're advocating for motion sickness due to bullet jumping and hang ten- aim gliding, first person WILL NOT WORK for the kind of pace this game caters to. Plus, hoard survival wouldn't last the full 5 minutes minimum as soon as a Scorch or Nullifier + Corpus Tech/Bursa turn the corner behind you and you wouldn't notice until it were too late, getting dragged by ancients or Scorpions would cause headaches beyond the fact that you got pulled in, some abilities or idle motions don't work in first person, and more. Enjutsu7
It seems some people here say it's hard, some it's easy, to implement, like slap the camera inside into the head, but there are 2 real core issues with this idea. Melee and parkour doesnt work that well in first person, other games that attempted it it was only mediocre, it's hard to judge distance in first person, whatever for parkour or for melee. Charlitoooo
Take an invisible frame like Loki. Change energy color to the true black in Smoke color. Be invisible. Voila
MuscleVictor
I remember seeing this devlog form Star Citizen on integrating a 1st-person camera into a 3rd-person player model, and it shows that adding FPS into a TPS like Warframe isn't as simple as adding a camera to the head: Timestamp starts at around 12:00, but the takeaway from the video is that there's a lot of work that goes into implementing cameras in both first and third person perspectives. If you were to try to give us a 1st-person perspective in a game as mobile and dynamic as Warframe, you also have to consider things like parkour and Warframe abilities. All in all, I'm in the camp of "it would be interesting, but overall impractical and an unjustified use of resources".
ragingdeamon
it will not be implemented by DE. they have other priorities. even if you could mod the game without being discovered, you would probably have to update the mod each time the game gets updated, meaning that the mo would never be in working order. (PSN)Akuma_Asura_
I just don't understand why not make it an option the bug itself shows that it's effortless. Shoot charge me plat for different camera angles I don't care
SurrealEdge
It's not effortless with the bug, it only super imposes the camera in odd angles around the model. In my case from this old screenshot, behind the head.

Chakravikari
It wouldn't work because of all the crazy parkour we do and generally stuff not meant for a normal human body. Even attempting to make it first person would be a nightmare.
