best way to grind conclave exp?

It's been almost 4 years now, and my connection has never favoured me in conclave, so I'm almost there, but still not max rank. My question is: what's the best way/ game mode where I can earn the most xp possible? I'm enjoying the opticor Variant a lot, and I'm salivating every time I see one of my favourite weapon's skin, the Karak.
Also another relevant question: Once I get promoted, will I be able to choose a reward from the next level? (same as with the other ranks). Thank you for reading

yes you can choose a reward when promoted, now with conclave server pvp is pretty steady. the best modes for exp are surely lunaro and 4vs4 annihilation (at least for me).

Better to focus on completing the weekly/daily challenges than to focus on sheer number of matches, PvP matches alone give trash amount of exp. The challenges are the real winners.
