I made mine 10 I have no clue what it did it says 8/10 even though all i have unlocked is mind spike? I upgraded it thinking it would increase my daily cap pool apparently it doesn't? Similar to leveling up items (gaining mod points) and attaching mods (activating a node) and upgrading a node costs more points.
