Does Combustion Beam take advantage of Sonar?

Someone in Council Chat said Acid Shells work with Sonar, so I'm hoping Combustion Beam does too since they have similar mod descriptions (explosions that do damage).

I tried testing against Lv50 enemies in Survival, but the damage numbers for Combustion Beam don't appear and the enemies weren't dying any faster.

Unless the Devs have specifically coded it out, any AOE, or splash damage, works with Sonar. The location of the damage on the enemies body however is random. So it's lucks draw if you hit your sonar spots or not... get to spamming!

Keep in mind that Acid Shell damage scales with enemy health whereas Combustion Beam does not.

Interesssting, I'll have to test again.

Resonance is good for not having to spam a costly Sonar.

And if we say Sonar roughly gives 1400% damage boost to the 600 AOE damage...that's narly lol
