so a support ticket to Microsoft and twitter support xbox chatting and a 4 hour phone call ...later 

steps: taken to "try" to fix this per MS support teams instructions for me

User side [i recommend you try these first] 

  • reset router
  • reset connection
  • restarted xbox 
  • removed account from xbox
  • reapplied account
  • changed payment options
  • uninstall/reinstall warframe
  • factory reset xbox
  • use PC to grant MS support log access

MS side: [xboxtwitter>support> live phone call chat[4 hours ]]

  • account log checks
  • payment checks [no errors or failed attempts to buy any new content..]
  • account verification and error logs [no issues or abnormalities..]
  • more error checking
  • they manually tried to purchase it through my account [same issue]
  • bumped up to a regional manger <has no idea why this is happening...>

MS conclusion its an issue with the developer ...

tweets megan to make her aware of the issue

  • megan responds [thanks for taking the time to help me out megan!]
  • tried the same steps as ms suggested 
  •  warframe team states its "slow to load"  but they can get it to work [:sad:i still cant]
  • they think its Microsoft [xbox live] end ....
  • but i do appreciate the time and effort megan and staff have done to look into this 

Warframe support :

per Support ticket response its a MS issue , and we need to contact MS 

[did that 2 times and reset xbox and reinsatlled warframe 3 times...] 

but hey guess third time the charm?

oh wait i fixed it myself .... <(-. o)p

 

Steps you should take Tenno [ at this time ]

any other tenno having this issue please submit tickets is my only suggestion at this point and time

or use a friends xbox one  to make the purchase.....? 

because as it is currently ......

warframe and microsoft are pointing fingers at each other ... on this issue 

no fix or resolution yet per Either of them....

so discussing with MS support it may be due to generation of xbox units and current patch on warframe

im using a gen 1 set 1[ .. didnt actually know that ...o. O] 

a few other users in chat and now forums are reporting the issue ...

im collecting data on unit types and age .....

anyway last night to zero out the only issue i could think as the console is a gen 1, i went out and purchased a NEW xbox one S 

loaded updates and warframe and profile this morning

loaded up game and purchase was easy and successful as it should

so at this point it may be tied to a xbox ones generation as MS thought....why? i have zero clue ....

[... thats right  i paid 300+$  .. to be able to buy a 10$ skin ..... im dedicated or hyper focused..take your pick,  i missed it twice so i wasnt taking chances ]

i can only say at this point to try using a friends xbox or an alternate xbox and see if it allows you to purchase one then ,

 

NOT A RECOMMENDED FIX ^  

test:  using another xbox to make purchase was a success so that is my only fix i can offer at this time per my experience

so far that i can tell its roughly 5% of the Xbox One users besides us , its a low percentage

now heres the thing xbox one support asked that may be the cause

the generation of xbox 

i have a GEN 1 xbox 1 

others i know are using a new black model  (gen 3+) or white xbox 1 S 

what version and or model is yours ? ill start a spread sheet of the saturation of this issue

so far my only [fix] ive gotten to work is to buy a xbox one S [new] and then i could buy it ....

i tried using my account on a few friends xboxs with same generation to my old one [or close] and issue was still persisting

Hello guyz Here i have got the same problem and the problem lies with DE and not with microsoft.

Ihad the same problem with the fire and ice pack .

Megan told me to make contact and i did . they put it back to DE . this was pretty annoying and i decided to wait it out.

After a week or 2  suddenly it was fixed and could finally purchase.

be patient and don't think it is the rigs we use

my experience proved the contrary 

i did a variety of logins into other xbox ones and had no result , but the S version i had no problems purchasing, so that in and of itself says there is a difference 

but how is not yet determined ..
