The man coughed, then began laughing. "Look at all y'all; hopped up on your lions share of the void." He blurted as more blood poured from him "...and here we got this rift demon talking about one sided combat..." He was still laughing. "...fine, fine... you want me gone, I'll go." He said as he limped to the hole in the wall. "But y'all ain't gettin off that easy..." he said as he flung a small cylinder into the crowd. And in a blink, he was gone. As the cylinder hit the floor it began to hum, void energy coalescing around it.

To those familiar with old orokin tech, it looked like a small cascade bomb.

(( don't worry. Not gonna insta-kill anyone, just giving the bar a scare))

Clogori quickly banished the bomb, preventing it from injuring anyone in the bar, before turning to face the Constable.

"All that sand out there, with those winds," the Constable said, "Probably strong enough to strip you of your shields in an instant, and scour the flesh from your bones. If you don't lay down your arms, all of you, I'll throw you out there."

He glanced over at the limbo.

"Take him out of stasis."

"He blew up the wall, walked in here, and started shooting. I feel I have the moral high ground here." Clogori said.

Sarah vaulted over the countertop, taking cover behind it. Abigail followed suit moments later.

"Without our warframes, we'd just get in the way." she explained to Abigail, who nodded. Sarah would be more than happy to join in normally, but in these cramped conditions more fighters tended to simply obstruct one another. Getting out of the way way actually more helpful than joining in.

Sarah turns to Jane, giving her a helpless shrug.

"I'm guessing by your reaction this doesn't happen a lot? I recommend plugging your ears, for when the gunshots start going off. You too, Abigail."

"This actually happens more often than you think, but usually the exterior stays intact." Jane replies, pulling one of her revolvers out of it's holster. "The well dressed suits are definitely a first."

"Not without these you're not~" the bartender says, having stolen his gunblade and crossbow during the scuffle. Carrying them outside while the sand and wind were still stuck, she drops them unceremoniously onto the dusty ground. Immediately afterwards, the weapons began to steam and melt, finally turning into a pile of unrecognizable slag.

Walking over to the adjacent post office, the bartender grabs several slabs of metal identical to the recently destroyed cover and door over one shoulder, before slotting them back over the the gaping holes in the bar and walking back behind the counter.

The two stood up, and began to right tables that had been knocked down during the fight.

The explosive compounds in the bolts simultaneously detonated outside the bar: A last futile effort it seemed.

Svytoj holstered his Soma, shaking his head.
"That was...easy..." He said as he looked over the damage.
Unprepared, running in haphazardly: that isn't what I remember from him. He thought as he pick a piece of cascade bomb out of the floor. It was still burning with void energy.

Clogori sheathed his Kronen, and checked if the sandstorm was over. The sooner he killed Tarnas and made it off-planet, the sooner he'd get paid

Svytoj shook the burning void from his hand and looked over at Clogori.
"Well, so long as you watch out for decoys, you should be fine taking Tarnas out."

Fenrir turned to Svytoj

¨If you don´t mind me asking, who was that and why was he so bent on killing you?¨ He asked

"You know how when someone goes through continuity that when the mind is moved to a new body, the previous body goes comatose and dies?"

Clogori's Scimitar started lifting off of the ground, the paint damaged by the sandstorm. It started flying in the direction of the Formorian. He landed several kilometers away, and switched to his Odonata archwing. In the aftermath of the sandstorm, he'd be able to approach the Formorian without being detected in his archwing.

Clogori ended up at the Formorian without being detected by any of Tarnas' scanners. He detached himself from his Archwing, and walked 50 meters to a hole in the Formorian's hull. He entered the rift before going through the hull breach. Pulling out his Sybaris, he started slowly navigating the corridors of the Formorian. The Rift prevented most conventional scanners from detecting him.

Clogori continued navigating the corridors, dust visible in the air. He occasionally looked in various rooms he passed, and almost always saw grineer skeletons and damaged equipment. This didn't faze him, and he kept moving...

"Wait, what?!" Jane gives Sarah a double take as she gets back up from behind the bartop and holsters her revolver. "Did you just say what I though you said?"

Outside, the wind and sand has died down considerably but still hasn't ceased entirely. Stargazing at least is still out of the option.

"Erm...... no?" Sarah said, coughing into her hand uncomfortably. "Just uhh.... forget I said anything, alright?"

Svytoj had seen the man just before the intruder took off; this man seemed familiar. Had he researched him after the events on lords moon? Or was he miss-remembering this?

"if you've got any more questions, feel free to ask." Svytoj said to Fenrir, still keeping an eye on where the constable was sitting.

((Reminds me of that scene from Jam - "If you're a secret agent, how come you're so bad at lying?" ".....I'm not a secret agent." X said, lying badly.))

"Umm.... Mia?" Sarah thinks sheepishly, "I might've.... well..... you might need to do some explaining to Jane pretty soon here......"

".....Sorry."

After some really boring wandering through the seemingly endless corridors of the Formorian, Clogori arrived in a room that looked mildly interesting. There was a console, the kind normally used for data storage. Lining the walls were sentinels, and judging by their considerable shinyness  (which is now a word), they were being maintained by someone. And that someone was probably Tarnas. Content that the Rift would mostly hide his presence, Clogori walked across the room to the console, and exited the Rift long enough to interact with the console.

(The next post miiiiight be the big reveal I've been building up to...)

"Don't worry about it dear~ We've always meant to tell her one day, the incoming Grineer and Hiearchy have just simply nudged things along~" Lily chimes in as she finishes cleaning up the rest of the room. Most of the bar aside from a layer of dust here and there has returned to a semblance of normalcy.

"...we're going to get ready once things get messy. are you going to stay in contact this time though?..." Mia casually scolds Sarah as she shakily reaches up to relight the gas lanterns that had been blown out by the earlier storm. Aria meanwhile downs the rest of the whiskey bottle in one gulp.

(and yup, no electricity in the bar proper)

(@SharpstrikerIt's less missing at this point and more knowing, but it feels like your ocs are dealing with some time lag. With Escort blowing holes in the wall earlier I'm not sure if you're going to react to the mini-scene, as mostly everyone else is on the move, especially since the sandstorm's dying down enough for ocs to attempt to head out before it gets nasty again)

"Surprisingly that isn't the first time I've heard of something like that. Happened all the time while they were trying to create me and Ymir over there" He replied tossing a thumb in Ymir's general direction.

"Did you say Grineer are headed here?" He asked the lady.

(yes, but the conversation was limited strictly to Sarah/Abigail/Svytoj and my ocs. Italicized means the lines were said mentally, remember? ^^; Generally, if you aren't quoted in, your ocs shouldn't be listening in. That said, if you want your chars to learn about it as well, I'm sure you can ask someone quickly and easily enough, as there's now around 8 guys in the bar that knows about the impending tubemen rush (all of my ocs, bowies, and escorts))
