Going manic searching for ash neuroptics

Time for what I can only assume is a weekly "how do I make grineer manics spawn?" thread

All the information I've found on them is just old enough that it could potentially be outdated and the page on the wiki has had me doing 30 - 25 minutes survival and excavation missions without any luck. So now I've given up and come to the forums for the first time to sook about it and hope someone knows something different than all the other people answering this question.

Regular Survival against Grineer on Youranus spawns a manic at 15min mark. Unless they changed something in the last few hotfixes, it should be reliable as a swiss watch.

I just realized I might be really dumb- do you have to be playing in a mode that isn't solo for manics to spawn? Because Uranus is where I've been doing the 30 minute survivals

Levels 2 and 3 of The Pacifism Defect also spawn manics pretty regularly.

just farm Ash Prime he`s easier to get and much better

just go for ash prime.. farming manics can be very very long farm.. sedna ceres survival is good place. for manics 15+min
