Orokin Remnant (Updated/Streamlined)

Operator: G-7 (Gretium)

Race: generation 1 Grinner

Favored weapons: Twin Grakatas, Broken War

Bio: The bottomless ocean of horror coiled itself around his heart and he embraced it. G-7 code name Gretium is a first generation Grineer crafted by the Orokin and placed on the Zariman for a secret mission. His group was a last resort set aside to fill in for the ensuing casualties. One by one his comrades were called off and placed into active duty. So there he waited huddled amongst the children listening closely to his comms anticipating the moment he too would be called into duty. But, the call never came only the sound of forgiveness: first screaming, and then silence.

Upon his return to the Orokin Empire he underwent debriefing and recounted the events to the Orokin elite as best he could. Less than a Tenno, but now much more than a Grineer the Orokin saw great value and used him in the research and development process for the Tenno weaponry. The experiments were grueling and at times life threatening, screams could be heard through the entire complex until they were silenced. In an attempt to spare as many lives as possible he volunteered for all the experiments he could before discovering the hidden cost of his abilities resulting in him being removed from the experimentation pool.

Eventually G-7 was placed under the tutelage of Dax; with Dax’s guidance G-7 became immensely loyal to the Orokin and honed his skills as a warrior. Being unable to control a warframe he developed an exo-suit meant to harness what little void power he did have, and mollify the affects its use had on him. After the fall of the empire he modified a stasis pod with the hopes of healing the damage caused by the void energy but, instead he only managed to prolong its effects and his life. Unable to truly side with the lotus out of pride, and rejected by the Grineer for what he had become, he instead became a smuggler for the highest bidder. Until one faithful day he received a garbled message while listening to the old Orokin channels.

Out of respect for those still loyal to old ways G-7 traveled to the coordinates on Lua and met with the other members of the remnant. It was there he first set eyes on the dark Tenno; he immediately became inspired by them, and truth be told was a little jealous of their power. It was then he decided he would not, or rather could not return to his old life. Instead he would take a stand and fight with the remnant helping them as best he could with the hope that he could see the Orokin empire restored before losing his mind to void.

Operator Name: Kaiz'Lende

Warframe(s): Titania/Nidus(With Prion Helmet)/Chroma/Limbo/(Soon)Atlas/(Soon)Octavia/(Eventually)Inaros/Multiple Primes

Preferred Weapons: Soma/Dread | Lex Prime/Akzani | Broken War

Bio: Kaiz'Lende (Called Kai for short) always had an affinity towards anything rare or shiny. Whenever he can, he likes to show off his new "trophies", be it a rare Warframe, weapon, or a rare mod. He also likes collecting Orokin statues, saying that they make fine memories of the destroyed Empire. Kai has no problem helping his friends stay up and fighting, or going stealth to kill his enemies silently. Kai is the type of Tenno that you would call a "Jack of All Trades" when it comes to missions. Once Kai learned about the Dark Tenno, he decided they would make fine allies when it comes to fighting and treasure hunting. Having always been the greedy one, he was shunned by some.

Operator’s Name: Isa Tekchen

Race: Orokin

Warframe: Saryn Prime, Excalibur

Weapons: Dread, Paris Prime | Lex Prime, Despair | Broken War |

Focus School: Madurai

Bio: During the Old War, Isa was one of the weaker Tenno, classified as a Guardian, somewhat similar to the Stalker, that has since become known throughout the system by other Tenno. She did not go on missions to directly assault the Sentients as the other Tenno did, but instead served aboard one of the Orokin ships as a guard against Sentient attack. She and the others failed in their duty, however. They were defeated and the ship's crew slaughtered. Isa's warframe was left pinned to a wall and heavily damaged, unable to free herself. The Sentients were defeated shortly after the crew she served was slaughtered. As a Guardian, she never heard from the Lotus during the Old War, and due to being trapped on the ship, she was not present to see the Tenno's betrayal. And so she remained, awake within her frame, pinned to the wall within a dead vessel, forgotten by all. As time passed, she too forgot. She fell into a trance, into a dream.

Then she she fell. The clang of her head against the floor woke her up. Her head perked up to see a two Corpus staring down at her, their weapons trained on her. A voice sounded in her head, that of a woman.

She ran, killing the two Corpus with her Lex, then hunting down the others and commandeering their small vessel to escape from the derelict she was on. As she became active again, some of her memories began to return. A war, serving as a guard, vague memories of the Orokin. She began to investigate these, stealing data from the Grineer and Corpus, making contact with other Tenno and beginning to work with them for the Lotus, but was never contacted by her directly. It was through this association with the Tenno that she gained a proper Orbiter, and that she encountered the Stalker. She soon focused her investigations on him, as his apparent desire for revenge against the Tenno might reveal what happened during the war. She replicated his weaponry, but still held on to her Lex still, as it was one of the few remaining pieces of her past. She eventually followed him to Lua after it reappeared, where she drove him away from her cryo pod and discovered her true self. After getting her meat body safely aboard her orbiter, she continued to explore the moon, coming upon the Orokin Remnant.

Now she continues to work with both the Remnant and the Lotus, hoping to piece together her past, and the truth behind what happened to the Orokin and Tenno, unsure of which party to trust. She seeks guidance from the various syndicates as well, and wishes to restore order to the Origin System to better protect the weak and innocent. She believes that finding out the truth about the Orokins is a key part of all this, for finding the cause of all this may help lead to a solution.

Operator's Name: Seraphiel

Race: Orokin

Warframe: Trinity Prime and Limbo (sometimes)

Weapons: Soma Prime, Lex Prime, Nikana

Focus School: Naramon

Bio: Having always been interested in the rift and everything that is beyond our material plane Seraphiel attempted to do riftwalk and became stuck in between existances and became a ghost. She got back to the normal universe after many years wandering in the ether and getting to know everything about metaphysical plane of existance called The Rift. Seraphiel got into contact with Remnant while she was looking for refuge since she was afraid for her life due to people being afraid of her connection to rift and became part of Remnants warriors. Her intrest in supporting those who are weak lead her towards Trinity and Narumon school of focus. Seraphiel is most comfortable in battlefield when she can help her allies to last longer and defeat any foe, she wields her Nikana with deadly precision and cuts down any foe with deadly dance of blades while granting her blessing of the void to her allies.

Alright, this is an interesting story beginning, but there are a couple issues with it.
1. The clan, while being lore based and lore friendly, is not impacted by the actual in game quests directly. Our characters can't have actual conact with the original Warframes.

2. How did your character come into contact with the Remnant?

If you have questions message me on Discord: TacticianMatt#1582

If you can fix those basic issues I listed above, we'll see about getting you into the clan.

(Its spelled Naramon btw ;))

Intro + Character

Introductions -

Hello! I see you've organised such a lovely place, and I see there's some good writers here as well! Oooo, excited to meet you all! :D

My name's Cameron (irl name), though on discord I'm known as 'Relentless', on steam 'fat lil boy', and most importantly! I'm known as 'Relentlessolive' on warframe. x3

I've been writing for a good few years, it's been one of my many passions and I just

love writing stuff. I can write anything, really, and I take much pride in it and usually end up putting a lot of effort into my writing so both me, and the reader can enjoy it both equally.

With Warframe, I joined quite a while back? I think it was in 2014 or 2015. I went on a hiatus, and started playing in mid-2016 then went on another Hiatus, and I recently got back into warframe yet again!

However the lore of Warframe, I find it quite interesting, even if it's a tad bit obscured.

Operator -

Operator Name:

Nick Duval.

Race:

Orokin.

Gender:

Male.

Sexual Orientation:

Bi-curious.

Physical Description:

His physique is built on the athletic side of things, hence why his muscle mass is small, yet the definition of his muscles are toned, and well-rounded from various activities both naughty and malicious. Eye colour is a elusive emerald green. Rough faced, however, is made somewhat elegant. Jet black hair, slicked back and a finely trimmed facial hair along jawline. With his rat-slicked hair, and devilish looks, along the Operator attire that he utilises, ; it's safe to say that Duval walks the walk and talks the talk. A thin nose, slender lips, sharp eyebrows and nicely shaped face have altogether complimented Duvals appearance, hence why he's such a looker. The man’s arms are medium in length, same the legs, his fingers small yet toes are long resembling that of Greek origin due to the shape of them.

Focus School:

Zenurik

[...The void.

Bitter, and dark. Fluorescent, yet corrupting.

Some follow this path, many fall and become one with the void, content with the almost ethereal prison that they reside in.

But not this one. Not today. Although his personality may be crude and.. questionable, he weaves the energy that passes by, traces of the void, pure in his eyes... whilst in others, they see the malformed energy that taints and brings the strongest of Orokin kind to heel.]

Misc Info:

Duval still remains within his pod, the signal faint, yet very hard to trace it's location even with the help of Lotus.

He still remains connected to his warframe, an unusually strong bond keeps them together in mind.

A circular 'plug-like' metal embroilment resides in his left temple. The etching and design of the metal object resembles that of Orokin design, a proud, noble white with a tinge of rose gold.

Has a sickening interest for Grineer weaponry.

Biography:

To be discovered through interaction. Of course, the DM can gladly contact me for the information about Duval and his past before he was placed into the pod.

Warframe -

Warframe Type:

Harrow

Name of Warframe:

An aged, poorly carved out name is written out on the neck of the warframe. The name appears to be carved out in Orokin hieroglyphs, however if it were translated... it reads:

"Br-"

The text cuts off, scratched and melted away from intense heat. However, the rest seems clear:

"- Acarius."

Weaponry:

This warframe seems quite proficient in the use of a two-handed mace, one of Orokin descent known as 'Fragor Prime'. However, the one that this warframe was 'buried' with, seems to be in pieces.

Gender:

?? (I'm not sure if Warframes even have genders, unless we're also including warframes under that category of romance. I'll keep this blank for now.)

Physical Description:

A draping of black, and dark grey. Fine, orokin materials are utilised in this warframe. The helmet itself, bears the clear design of the 'Suffragan' style of helmet. The width of this warframe appears to be above the average warframe, whilst the height ranges at about 6,10. Armour is in short supply, most of the materials covering the warframe appears to be purely ceremonial... however strong traces of the void can be detected, covering the lining of this warframes uniform. The pauldrons, along with upper chestplate of the warframe appear to be the thickest, and made out of a fairly strong material known as 'Gallium'.

What seems most iconic, is the faint, corrupting scent of Kuva if one sniffed Acarius.

Upon the warframes neck, a strange, brutal area of damage seems done. Something, or someone was attempting to rip out the Warframes almost robotic like vocal chords. They appear severely damaged, making it hard for the warframe to communicate.

Upon the warframes temple, a capsule remains, drilled into the warframes helmet. A cap made out of Tellerium, meant to protect something. Inside however, there is nothing but the rotting gravel from Eris.

Acarius, upon the backs of his pauldrons, has clamps of an aged, slightly torn black cloak. The clamps themselves are made out of a rich, orokin gold, along with the metallic parts, and chassis across the Harrow warframes body.

Biography:

Dead. Upon the rotting surface of Eris. Where the infestation seems apparent and plentiful, frollicking and multiplying with the fresh corpses imported from the Tenno, Grineer and Corpus. North of Eris, where jagged bits of depressed stone, and bumpy landscapes are festering, squatting in place where they shouldn't be. The littered ships that scatter the dead space of Eris dangle helplessly above, with the twitching, abhorrent tendrils of the Infestation ringing true. A foul sight, one that must be rid... but not now.

A rap and tap against the rock can be felt through the tremors of space, no sound emits, at least not yet. A small cave, hidden deep beneath the carapace of rock, a small tunnel that requires the average individual to crouch through. Signs of the infection seem... invisible. None-existent upon the brittle surface of fragile rock. The crouch walk through would end abruptly, with a sudden drop to follow into a much larger cave, a couple hundred meters underground.

The iconic sound of water, flowing steadily through the channels below, the source unknown yet most likely associated with that of a tight area deep underground, where fauna is untouched, generating oxygen from plants beneath the poisoned rock. A dim, dark green is awash near the thin stream, where the rocks are hydrated, resembling that of Moss. Under the ugly, there appears to be a beauty. Though, there is no life besides the plantlife and...

Someone.

A knelt figure, occupying the thin stream of clear water. It looks downward, never moving, not even twitching or any sound permitting from the 'thing'. Yet, one thing remained certain. It was just, that Warframe.

Dead in the water. Undisturbed... to perhaps never awake...

Unless a foreign presence entered, of course.

(The rest is To Be Discovered via IC interactions.)

Misc. Notes:

In a deep sleep, at this moment in time.

Resides in Eris.

Systems damaged, unable to move properly or quickly.

Retains a deep, conscious bond between himself and Duval.

Operator’s Name:  Nivalis (not his birthname, it seems whatever training he went through scrubbed him of much of his 'self', perhaps so that in a pinch he could be used in The Continuity)

Race: Orokin

Warframe(s): Frost Prime

Weapons: Latron Prime | Lex Prime | Silva and Aegis Prime

All three weapons are merely what Nivalis was issued and was sealed with. As he grows as a person, he will find things he actually likes, rather than falling back on what he was assigned.

Focus School: Although the other seven of the Ignis Grando would be picked from the Vazarin school, Nivalis would be chosen from a crop of Naramon schooled tenno, in hopes it would make him a better team leader.

1a0abb5d79.png

Bio: Nivalis was proud. Nivalis was strong. Nivalis had purpose. In the height of the Orokin empire, Nivalis was captain of the Ignis Grando. An elite and highly trained unit of tenno, the Ignis Grando were the direct guard of a sect of the Orokin elite. Trained and drilled ruthlessly, scrubbed of personality or passions, molded and modified, the Ignis Grando consisted of four frost and four ember. A perfect tactical union of defense and offense, expertly equipt but ultimately for show. The Ignis Grando, while intimidating to observe, never saw actual combat. And, whatever great schism, whatever dark cataclysm that caused the sun to set on the Orokin empire also buried along with it the entirety of the Ignis Grando.

Dug up centuries later in a tomb on Neptune by a Corpus excavation outfit prepping tunnels for a new assembly line, Nivalis’s pod and warframe were immediate transferred to Jupiter for ‘reclamation and reform’. His awakening went poorly for the Corpus, but also poorly for Nivalis.

A boy out of time who barely had much self-awareness to begin with, Nivalis is lost. Truly a relic of a bygone era, he struggles to be self-motivated and finds himself overwhelmed and without purpose. He is a decorative weapon with no mantel to be hung upon. A blank slate. By pure luck, it is the Orokin Remnant whose contact reaches him first, and not the Lotus.

Currently, he wonders if any of the other Ignis Grando remain, and hopes to someday find out.

other: I would like the Ignis Grando backstory stuff to be open game for anybody that finds it interesting. Nivalis, as he gets some self-worth and drive, will likely spend some of his time trying to find out what happened to his soldiers.

I like this idea of more Orokin Era Tenno coming back! I won't feature Ignis Grando on the main page here, but you're free to ask new players if they want to partake in this group!
PM me on Discord @ TacticianMatt#1582 and I'll send you an invite to the clan!

Operator's Name: Aster

Race: Orokin

Warframe: Frost Prime with Harka Skin

Favored Weapons: Tiberon | Talons | Reedemer

Focus School: Naramon

Bio: "Can you feel it? The cold kiss of death has graced you, but your death was not in vain, for the frost will cover your body and encase you forever." These are the few spoken words that Aster graces his victims when he kills them. Aster was the perfect killing machine; cold, silent, and best of all deadly. His abilities were first shown during the Zariman incident, Aster was often noted as a disassociative individual amongst his fellow peers and refused to cooperate with the other children when it came to practice or even games. The same things would happen every day to Aster as the children would avoid him leaving him to his dark thoughts, which created the schizophrenic voices who called themselves Diz, and Emil. He would have violent episodes when the voices interacted which would lead to blackouts. Aster was recovered in a medical ward by the Corpus on Pluto from there he was put in cold working slave like conditions, he, in particular, was being tasked with uncovering in what would be known as a Frost Prime Warframe. In what was the heat of the moment Aster touched it which he remembered nothing but his name and the voices reintroduced themselves but refused to answer about what happened in the past.

And with the Corpus easily having an underlying deceit complemented with untamable greed. It took Aster too long by his standards to remove the existence of these 'inferior beings' as he called them. It took months but Aster had near mastery of his Warframe on his survivalist campaign on Pluto to rid of the Corpus. But that is not to say that throughout his campaign he was still the same, He worked as a mercenary and assassin for the highest bidder. Once again being sold like an item Aster gave up on reasoning with inferior beings, he hijacked on a Corpus ship and went to make a name for himself. From there he heard the transmission and headed towards the Remnant broadcast origin. But not before he put on his mask of ice, Aster seeks to find answers about his past so he can fight, for a better future...

Up until he was Awakened in the Outer Terminus with a Frost Prime in his possession, he remembered nothing but his name and the voices reintroduced themselves but refused to answer about what happened in the past.

Aster soon met the Corpus and easily saw there underlying deceit complemented with an untamable greed. It took Aster too long by his standards to remove the existence of these 'inferior beings' as he called them. It took months but Aster had near mastery of his Warframe on his survivalist campaign on Pluto to rid of the Corpus. But that is not to say that throughout his campaign he was still the same, Aster in his cold demeanor had ironically gained more emotions than he thought he just needed the right organisms to activate them. Now after hearing the transmission being sent out even to the Corpus Transmissions Station on Pluto Aster seeks to find answers about his past so he can fight, for a better future...

Alrighty, I like where this is going, but there are a few details we'll need to flesh out! As far as I'm concerned though, you're in. I'll send you a Discord invite after we sort through your bio.
