There's two places to get them, but... uh... you need to go to Lv30+ areas to even make your first warframe now? What's with everything being Lv30+? The only non-30 areas don't give you much of any resources other than neural sensors..... So....you have to be uber modded to solo anything now? It's sometimes interesting to play with people you do not know since you can't anticipate what kind of tactics they might employ. You will also be fighting with an uncertainty of quality in teammates. Just imagine yourself as a soldier who got sent for a mission with another military unit. How is that fun to be forced to group up with so many laggy hosts? I liked having the solo OPTION.
