Spear-Gun's Auto-Return

I get that Spear-Guns needs to auto return in case they get stuck in the terrain or simply goes off the map, but could we, instead of it automatically returning, have you Switch to your primary for it to return, the reason for this is that I was using Ferrox to lock down corridors on defense mission but it keeps coming back to me even when I don't want it to, I fell that this change will not be intrusive but more convenient, you could say this is akin to an inverse limbo banish, you have to wait sometime before you can have it back, but you don't need to have it back if you don't want to.

I would love the weapon if you could press ALT fire to throw, use ots primary fire and then press ALT fire to have it back. that way I would always be using the same gun.
