Where to get Kuva?

I just got my octavia systems and Im wondering where do I get kuva?

You get kuva from kuva siphon/flood missions, in order to unlock these missions you'll need to finish the war within quest first.

Something you might not know and the game is very unhelpful with.

In order to harvest kuva, you have to deploy your Operator and use Void Dash* to dash into/through the kuva cloud (which is red and black cloud that will be floating along about head-hight or so moving towards the Kuva Siphon).

• Void Dash (Crouch + Jump): Void Dash is a mobility power that allows the Operator to perform a short-range teleport within the direction of aim, which will also pull enemies and damage objects caught in its path. It is also used as a utility power, such as in collecting Kuva. With a full energy gauge, the Operator can perform three consecutive dashes before depletion.

I'm bringing this up because in mission Lotus actually gives you false information on what you're supposed to do.

She'll tell you to "attack the braids" (on the Siphon) and this is literally incorrect.

You can't damage the siphon at all. You have to Void Dash thru the Kuva Clouds, this is the only way to handle it.

The braids should point in the direction the cloud will come from (it was badly glitched for a while and point the wrong direction, but this is supposed to be fixed now.)

Sometimes the cloud's spawn point can be really close but usually, it's a ways off.

You'll also be able to hear a noticeable sound when there is a Cloud for the Siphon to harvest so listen for that.
