I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

  • Everyone gets one, if I can.
  • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
  • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
  • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
• No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
• If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
• Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
• "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
• I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

Q : Octavia Prime is vaulted, how do I get the Bombast instrument set?
A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

• Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
• Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
• Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Hey Buff00n, I made a request about a week ago (it's on page 48, Remember by Ember McLain). Do you think you could do that one? Even just the drum track would be great. Oh, sorry man!  I totally missed yours.  After 50 pages I my eyes tend to gloss over strings of comments that have my own profile icon :)

Well, tempo is an issue.  Your only choices are way too fast or way too slow.  Too fast looks like this:

Putting it in now, yeah I see what you're saying. Sucks that it won't keep the tempo, but it's honestly close enough for me. I'd ask if you could try it in the faster pace version but I don't want to bother you too much with this. The song's just had a bit of meaning to me for quite a few years now and it'd have been cool to have it in game. Thanks for the help man.

Like I said, neither the vocals or the guitar riffs (which are basically the same as the vocals) are going to work for a melody and be anywhere close to recognizable.  I took a look at the opening bass line, too, and I can't do that accurately either.  It really suffers from the lack of the major scale IV note.

Now that you have a feel for the tempo disparity you can probably just make something up and it will be as good as anything I could come up with.

It would be nice if it can be done with gamma and adau, those are the two instruments I currently have. But obviously, similarity comes first, as I's buy other instruments sooner or later
