I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

This is just right in fact, personally loved the progression from the 3rd to the 4th loop. 

Hmm.  The "obvious" wrong note is the first four notes in the second measure, which should all be a half-step lower.  If they are not obviously wrong to your ears, then maybe I need to adjust my expectation of the kind of wrong notes I can get away with.

Tried to reply yesterday but the forum was down. 

I definitely do detect a bit of inconsistency in the melody, but I'm also aware of the restrictions the mandachord poses. Hence, the fact that you went ahead to accommodate to my request was more than enough. I also noticed your video said: "By a persistent request..." so I wanted to be respectful.

However, if you're open to perfecting the music, I'd be happy for that and will try in any way to support you if you need help.

I would tamper around with the Mandachords if I could, but that's why I'm here. I'm a music dummy :3. There are also other song requests that I thought of requesting, but I'm not sure if there's a restriction to the song requests. I'm assuming you're doing this out of kindness instead of "I'm bored, so throw me any songs and I'll do it for you unless its impossible".

Don't know where you'd cut them to make it work in a loop or if this would work at all but it'd be nice with some old-fashioned

There are a few classical pieces up there under Miscellaneous, but ones that work are rare.

Of course you would pick two that are in in 3/4 time.  Fur Elise isn't happening but, amazingly, I think I can make Blue Danube work.

Man, I can't listen that whole thing.  I did sample though and didn't find anything I can do.  Notably, I can't do what seems to be the main theme at 0:14.

Sorry, Hendrix's original stuff doesn't really translate to Mandachord.  The only one I have in my list is actually a Bob Dylan song.

Man that's a tough list.  Bits and pieces of the first two are borderline but not enough to make a loop from

Yeah, it just doesn't work.  I can kinda fit two bars of it, but the whole thing is way out of range.
