I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Not sure exactly what you're talking about, but the only "loops" I can find in the first three minutes don't work on a Mandachord.

If I didn't actually make something for you then there's no wait, go ahead.  However, in this case there actually is a wait because I'm still three weeks behind.

I know that its a Touhou song and that its hard to do it but if you can I would love to see it in the Mandachord

It's not that Touhou is hard.  It's just that listening to Touhou OSTs is frickin exhausting.  Do they make Pocky with cocaine instead of sugar now or something?

I listened to the section you highlighted as long as I could, and there isn't really a melody I can use.  Unless you're talking about the backing synth which is on some kind of Red Bull and Crack, in which case, also no.

Hello! I would like to request this song. It's a eurobeat song so there are many beats besides it's the vocals that I want 😛
The chorus would make a really good loop. Around 1:20 - 1:30 is a good spot.

How ironic the request above me is also a Touhou song 😄

The Eurobeat Touhou remixes are at least tolerable.  Unfortunately, Eurobeat is the exact wrong tempo for Mandachord.

. Thanks in advance. I've been staring in awe at your work. Almost ashamed to ask, but I have been struggling with a few song conversions, and was hoping to steal some help from the master. 

1) Tool- Lateralus. I would like to have a section of the main driving rhythm of the song. (circa 1:13- 1:21). If it would be easier, or you think the conversion would sound better, I'd also be interested in the intro section (after the bass notes come in; 0:30- 0:38)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDlC7oG_2W4

 

2) A Perfect Circle- Judith. I have struggled with this one since I unlocked Octavia. I think the intro section (0:13-0:21) would be perfect for Octavia. I decided to have a go at it and this is my result. The percussion and bass is pretty good but the melody is a bit off. The range isn't high enough and no instrument does justice. I personally think the Delta melody sounds nice; makes it into a funky electro song.
