Consequences of falling off terrain?

Sorry if it seems like I'm spamming the forums but I promise you these are genuine questions that I wanna know more about.

Like when you fall off terrain into places and the screen blacks out and puts you back on terrain, what actually happens? All I know is that you lose ability buffs or like certain toggled abilities deactivate (e.g. Inaros Scarab Armor)

Anything else? Anything serious? Does it affect affinity?

it's the equivalent of falling into a nullifier bubble for a split-second. Other than losing any active buffs caused by a warframe, the only other effect is that nidus will lose one stack (as per being in a nullifier bubble for a split-second).
