How viable is a Melee Limbo build?

Say if I build Limbo for negative strength, a little bit of range (+33%?), max efficiency (+70 or 80%) and high duration (stasis and catalysm lasting slightly over a minute), adding in the Rift Torrent augment for Rift Surge, how well will it work out for soloing survivals, defense, and maybe extractions?

It viable for def and mdef, as statis promotes melee over shooting

We don't know how well you play so you need to try it yourself.

Melee works fine for any frame.

the build for extreme CC with limbo its only for melee also for your teammates too, some people hate the rift but limbo has the rights to play too :( if he nukes everything its bad, but if he activate the rift some people hate over you for using limbo, poor limbo..

Thanks for the answers. And yeah, planning to mod him for solo runs probably.
I got yelled at a few times when I placed my Cataclysm and Stasis that lasts for slightly over a minute, because their guns aren't "working".
