It's about time to take a look at weapon switching / Holster Speed in Warframe

That reminds me of the arguments defending the old Stamina mods...

While I agree that I'd prefer mods to be less about the damage, and more about playstyle, and what secondary stat you want to focus on (Fire rate, Reload Speed, Punch Through, etc...), I still believe that Holstering mechanics are in need of a general rework regardless.

You'd think a cybernetic space ninja that can perform inhuman feats of agility would be able to holster/change weapons faster than you can blink.

Something happened, and I think it's gotten worse. All of a sudden when I swap weapons now my WF will give the weapon a little pat pat after its holstered before swapping to the next weapon. It's the strangest thing.

Can't say I've experienced the same thing. You sure it's not just lag doing its thing?

I don't think so...my Warframe gives his secondary a little pat too when it switches from secondary to primary. But it's doesn't happen when switching from melee to primary or secondary.
