Buzlok... vs other weapons

This Buzlok is a LMG, still have 7x crit multiplier, and pinpoint accuracy with multishot, and the beacon giving you extra crit chance.

the only downside is the 50 mag, but that's not really a problem, and the somewhat low bullet flight speed, but this can be managed easily with some pratice.I had the luck to grab a riven +(180% multishot, + 180% cold -damage to a faction)  for the buzlok, but still....

 

Compared to a 6x Forma Supra (no crit, or 5.6X, if you can hit head) , huge dispersion,  mag that does deplete in few sec, long reload (and i have a decent Riven for it i think (+ 93% multishot, +93% heat, 2.7 punch trough, - damage to a faction))

 

Other weapons that come to mind are Latron prime, (7x crit mult) , i don't have riven for it, but 15 mag and semi-auto limit its combat abilty (or the player must be super pro or aimbot )

Also There s Soma Prime, but low base damage is low base damage.  And continous fire like apmprex,synapse, but there s never enough ammo

 

Of course with exceptional Riven anything could be good,  but if the game goes this way, then several weapons should be buffed

I wouldn't say Buzlok is a sniper though I would agree its chassis should be, the weapon is more a full auto assault rifle with specialist ammo leading to a squad leader or designated marksman usage. The Gorgon, Soma, and Supra series by comparison are more what a Light Machine Gun might entail though Gorgon in particular suffers in comparisons to both other LMG and full auto assault rifles. Perhaps, the gun series can use buffs in the future. If Corpus, particularly capture targets are an issue, the Buzlok is a good option though Impact damage can be less than impressive against many common enemy types.
