Soma Prime Crit Builds

Does anyone have any good soma prime crit builds.

I normally run with point strike, hammer shot, vital sense, split chamber with any crit gun. I also have heavy cal since soma doesnt require pinpoint accuracy, plus argon scope with fanged fusillade, but you could run with shred and serration too

Soma Prime builds nearly always start with:

Serration / Split Chamber / Shred / Point Strike

Vital Sense / 

The final three mods are dependant upon special conditions (Sorties), having a Riven, or if you're going with Faction specific builds. As well as what you have available to mod with in the first place, of course.

Since it has an exceedingly low Base damage rating, you will want to maximise what you put in there: stuff like Critical Delay, Hammer Shot and Heavily Caliber are highly situational - and mostly pretty rubbish for the Soma. Of the three Hammer Shot would be the least objectionable and even then it's a stretch.

Without a Riven I'd use Argon Scope/Bladed Rounds/ Primed Cryo Rounds, or Infected Clip/Stormbringer/Primed Cryo Rounds if you don't have the event mods. Swap the Primed for normal version if that's also an issue.

Due to the fact the highest individual damage rating is Slash at 6, I would stay away from Fanged Fusilade if you have it. Even if it happens to be a Sortie enhancement that favours IPS physical damage loadouts. You'd be better off with a different weapon in tier 3 runs in that event.

Almost all builds for soma have only one or two max slots open. Serr, Split, Point S, Vit Sen, 2 x elementals are a must.

For the two remaining slots: Argon Scope, Heavy Cal, Bladed Rounds, Riven. 

A third elemental is less effective after the two first ones, specially on alow base damage weapon like soma. it is all about the crits baby...
