(PSN)Skrepon
Not sure if anyone is familiar with how Call of Duty did the whole squad thing in Ghosts, but I think it would help solve the Solar Rail problem of having them being locked down by the mega alliances. Basically what it was is a rank determined placement for teams. As you did better, you were placed with similarly ranked teams to keep the difficulty similar. You were grouped with around ten teams and fought it out for dominance. Warframe could do something similar by having some kind of placement test for clans to participate in every so often to keep things fair. If teams become inactive, they are dropped from the roster with the next placement test. This would open up different levels, per say, for clans to compete in to gain some kind of reward for everyone to benefit from. For rewards going to the current clan that has control of the Dark Sector, you could just base that on what clan size the player is in. If a team of four go to a DS and two are in a moon clan, two are in a storm clan, then 50% of the rewards goes to the moon clan that has control, 50% goes to the storm clan that has control. Obviously not perfect as this method would allow multiple clans of different size to maintain control of a DS at once, but this is just a starter idea. Very welcome to more ideas to build on it. bluepheonix13
You know that solar rails are completely disabled atm and will be reworked in the (maybe not so) near future?

Yes I do. Maybe this may help it along so we can get back into it sooner.
