Host migration mission fails

Failing missions and getting no rewards because of host migrations/losing connection for 5 seconds is a really awful experience, I just lost a 2000+ excavation mission while waiting at the extraction point with less than 30 seconds left with no warning. I should have been successful but I lost connection and received nothing Is there no way to temporarily save rewards locally when a host migration appears so that you don't lose what you earn for no reason?
Losing missions and rewards like this is super hard on your players and makes it really hard to keep playing sometimes.

I have had a few issues with this bug. I had a mission where I was leveling after 18 waves in akkad, then the host migration hits and I lost literally all my progress. please DE look into this and find out what the hell is wrong. This bug isn't that uncommon either and its very aggravating when it happens.
