Stalker gets very confused in Lua Spy missions

The problem is, he's completely unable to handle the phase switches (probably because you're actually just teleporting between maps). If you go through a void rift, he doesn't know how to follow you and will eventually bug out—the first time this happened, he ended up just walking around unreactive while I followed right behind him and meleed him to death.

But that's not all! Stalker himself can actually go through an open void rift, and can activate them if he happens to be on top of a closed one when he uses an attack. 

tl;dr Lua void rifts break enemy pathing.

edit: he did drop the War BP the second time, which is nice.
