Elevator in Dojo Showing Non Existent Room Dependency

I have a elevator that even though I have removed all of the child rooms that were created after it still states it has a dependency,  The room it states is it's dependency is the initial starting clan hall.  Seeing as the elevator was created after the initial clan hall there should be no dependency that should exist as the hall is not a child of the elevator, the elevator is a child of the hall.  I've tried establishing a new elevator in a new location between the floors as one would believe I couldn't delete the elevator as it would have been the only connection between the floors.  This however made no difference and I'm stuck with a elevator with no use.  Any way to change the parent child relationship between the hall and the elevator?

You already figured out you cannot create a new elevator to fix the problem.

It is a limitation of how the dojo building works.

If it was the initial connection between the floors you have to delete the entire floor to have it allow you to delete the elevator.
