Going to buy a companion, need help choosing one

I haven't played much, only have a mag and banshee and a handful of weapons but I'd like to pick up a companion. I've been eyeing Dethcube and Helios the most. I'd like something that's useful in combat but Helios' autoscan is really attractive.

don't try dethcube yet, it has the worse utility

if you want to start with something, Carrier (will generate more ammo for your weapons and its weapon is powerful) or Taxon (reliable slow, charge your shield/overshield and the cheapest to build) could be the best ones for you now

 

Helios is costly, but still viable

carrier is most useful... its have mod witch is like universal ammo mutation for any wepon u use....helios is also reallly nice for scanes..

Thanks, gonna buy a Helios then and a Carrier down the road.

Carrier best cause its alive a lot longer than the rest + a tone of ammo for your weapons + its inbuilt weapon is a shotgun <3
