About Vauban's Vortex

Hey, guys, I'm playing with my recently acquired Vauban and everytime I use vortex in a mission and try to shoot monsters caught in it, the only dmg numbers that show up are the vortex's (It works fine when I'm soloing, tho). My question is: is it a visual bug and I'm actually dealing dmg or am I not dealing dmg at all?

Youre dealing damage. And if you threw it next to a team-mate, probably annoying them. It is by far not his favoured power.

Dead corpses/ragdolls being sucked into the vortex can block shots, depending on the weapon type.

 

Get an Ogris, problem solved.
