The current void system

Why can't we just have the original void system along with the void 2.0? 

So we go and take 1 relic of a certain tier and craft it into one of the various keys we used to have. Crafting takes 1 min.

Lith relics can be used to make the various T1 keys

Meso for T2

Neo for T3

Axi for T4

the void should still remain as a "planet" type thingy but also have the orokin ship off to the side with a mission node that lets you pick which key to use.

For what purpose though? As just another way to farm prime parts? 

If you mean to say that we should just have two whole systems just to farm the same set of items, then that just splits the community in two as half farm one place and half farm the other, making it twice as hard to find a squad for it. on top of that, the two systems aren't really compatible for trading relics into keys and vice versa: there was a set amount of keys and they got more items over time, whereas more relics get added over time but their items are constant. Those systems are almost exactly the opposite.

And in any case, the Relic system is objectively better for drop chances and farming, anyone who actually cares about the loot they're getting would play the Relic system for the Traces 100% of the time. The only reason to want Void Primes back is so that you have a reason to play the Void.

I gotta agree with YUNoJump, there isn't much reason to reinstate Void Keys 1.0 (especially in tandem with the current system) aside from key acquisition being a bit easier, since there were admittedly a lot less variations of keys than there are relics. That said, being able to "craft" specific relics would definitely be a welcome concept to alleviate the pain of having to farm the same one or two spots with the hopes of getting one particular relic. Off the top of my head, maybe have it so there are only four generic Relic types (Lith, Meso, Neo, and Axi) which can be turned into a specific Relic of your choice on the Liset through either:

A) Some kind of transmute system, where you sacrifice a number of generic relics to activate a specific one (albeit one of your choice rather than a completely random one)

B) Void Traces are now also used on generic relics to turn them into a specific relic in addition to being able to further refine them as it currently works. Generic relics can now also be broken down into Void Traces directly (although this will yield less than you would earn from actually running a fissure mission, not to mention you won't earn a reward item).
