[Feedback] Matchmaking

since there no forums about matchmaking or how to improve it, may well just post it here.

 

There bunch of computers in warframe like myself and others dont have host capability and NAT issue even you can port forward it and it still detected it as Upnp or fail etcs.

 

 

To Improve this. get rid of Hosting when squad leader = hoster to replace it with DE's servers so every new games launch will go through DE servers not Squad Leader 's computer.

 

reduce the major desyncing/laggy issue other people may have

It's been said a lot, and the excuse typically is 'technical problems'. Sadly, we're stuck the way we are for the the foreseeable future.

You realize, that servers cost money? And you realize, that we have lots of players, which means lots of servers will be needed, which means DE will need lots of money?

you know DE getting alot money based on what Platimium? and other package on steam including buyplatimun ppage?

They dont have the resources to endorse dedicated servers, which take a lot of money to buy/rent, let alone the massive bandwidth costs.

And while they are making a bit of money, a dedicated server farm would cost far more than what they are getting and wouldnt have enough ROI.

They most that they can really do is add in an option to *not* be the host so that if you know your internet cant handle it you wont be hosting for other people.

Then we must keep submitting feedback to help improve the game.  They will continue to develop and improve Warframe.  We will keep enjoying it.  We will spend our hard earned money to support them and help us have more fun.  By doing that, we will finance their operation and perhaps some day give them the success they need to justify dedicated servers.

 

Renting a single server for roughly 20 people is expensive.  Renting massive amounts of server space within a multi-million datacenter is *very* expensive.  We gotta help them out =)

add option should be good idea to implementation to the game, @Tsukinok say about not be the host if orginial hoster left some no reason

You know, that this money goes for their salary? Their team don't work for bowl of rice. Also software and hardware costs, so do their studio, water, electricity, internet - all of that costs money.
