MaddMedic
I recently tried to record the game play of Warframe with FRAPS. I did not work. FRAPS was running, but somehow Warframes was blocking it. I have used FRAPS for many other games without a problem. Are Warframe developers blocking this? Is it bc it is a Beta Version? Any Suggestions before I go on my quest to find the Correct In Game Video Software? Thanks
sleepy
I've seen a bunch of videos, some used Fraps some Bandicam, it should work, mess around with the settings.
Letter13
I use OBS. Lets me record warframe as long as it's in fullscreen windowed or windowed mode. I have it output to a file, any resolution and framerate I want. Usually OBS is used for streaming though.
Trollin4ThePrimes
Fraps works with Warframe, but Fraps on the other hand it a out of date video recording software.
MaddMedic
Thanks for the feedback. So FRAPS is outdated... never thought about that. I have wanted to get another application anyway I will check out the others
IIPREDATORII
I use MSI afterburner and DXtory. Both did not work at all. Until I went to the launcher settings and found out if you uncheck 64 bit it works.
CeePee
Start your fraps during the game, it does not work for me if I start it before the game
IIPREDATORII
Start your fraps during the game, it does not work for me if I start it before the game Do you have your launcher setting on 32 bit or 64 bit? Just curious.
Sumnus
I sincerely didn't realize people were still trying to use Fraps...the more you know. But as has been said, OBS is good at it, and Xsplit can do it as well (both usually used for Streaming, but they provide local recording as well). Loser_Prime
I use MSI Afterburner. It didn't work when I had installed SweetFX, but after I removed that, it worked like a charm. If you are on a 64-bit OS, be sure to untick the 64-bit mode in the launcher options as you won't be able to record in that mode.

Could have sworn I gave the same advise in my first response to this post. I recommend trying to uncheck the 64 bit in the launcher if any recording software doesn't work.
